What you choose to include is really up to you but have a look to see what others are doing. If you ever get to the stage where you can outsource your advertising it would be good to have a clean system setup. This will make whoever is coming in to take over your ads life much easier.
Expand Interests – In your Ads manager you should see a box ticked that says “Expand Interests”. I haven’t seen one person who recommends leaving that ticked. Make sure you untick it because it will make Facebook spend your ad money like crazy.
Language – No matter where you’re targeting English (All) should be selected. You can choose to target only the USA or the big 5 (USA, UK, AUS, NZ, CAN) or even worldwide excluding Africa, China, India among others. No matter where you are targeting, the audience should speak English.
Lookalike Audience – LLA is one of the most powerful aspects of Facebook ads. This is where Facebook collects data on your customers and uses it to create a highly targeted population. The best way to do this is to wait until you have one hundred purchases. After that you can create lookalike audiences based on these customers. It is very effective in allowing you to become successful with dropshipping.
